There’s a point early on in the Buffy Season 8 comics where Buffy is having a dream that she’s back in high school circa the first season, and after Cordy says something mean to Willow, Buffy says something akin to, “Someday she’ll be dead,” in a comforting manner, like it’s a good thing, and it made me incredibly nauseated. I wish the Scoobies could have seen just how much Cordelia grew, and how little she deserved her death.
